[Digestion] Use of Upgraded Biogas in household

Dear Dr. Karve,

I agree with your viewpoint if the distance between biogas plant and consumption
point is not too far. We have already put 12 such plant where we are
distributing the gas through pipeline in 12 villages in Gujarat. We
indigeneously developed GPRS i.e. Gas Pressure Regulating System. But in case
distance between biogas plant and consumption point is far then it is advisable
to upgrade the gas and bottle it. Upgradation is not an issue but supplying gas
in cylinder at high pressure doesn't look too promising mainly because of heavy
cylinders and safety issue.

I wonder if anyone in this forum has got the experience with Adsorbed Natural
Gas, this is the only feasible solutions I could think of.

Regards,
Gaurav

Dear Gaurav,
you may construct a biogas plant next to the hospital and provide them the
biogas directly from the biogas plant. That is the cheapest and most practical
solution.
