In '86, Deenbandhu Fixed Dome model took over from over Janata Model for its multi advantages over Janata. <br>
Still a good percent of these plants are functional. Functionality depends on after installation care, regular feeding and any other that can make the plant functional. Ofcourse prime conditions for longivity of any digester are - Quality of building materials, Skill of construction. and proper CURING. <br>
<br>The toilets in Indian villages are connected to the inlet side of the digester if a pre concieved toilet jointing is there; if the cocept is later than the digester constrution, the toilet's out let is fed/connected to the Inlet tank of the Digester with a top cover to prevent possible odour of fresh excreta.<br>
