What about the possibility that carbon particules may trap exceeded H2S when collecting biogas within the tank then releasing CH4 faster than Nox and / or S compound ?<BR>
This could explain the said increase in volatile matter destruction / biogas production for the reason of a lower level of inhibiting H gas compound ....<BR>

Do we think that this is related to C:N or the surface area of the carbon matrix or other? Has anyone applied this? It seem that maybe periodic feeding of carbon may work, rather than daily. Thoughts relative to small digesters?
