in collaboration with the International Arts and Architecture Research
Association are holding an international conference on<b style> Sustainable Urban Energy</b> in Tehran on the 12<sup>th</sup> and 13<sup>th</sup>
of December 2012. The conference is intended to provide a platform to
discuss innovations in <i><b>waste to energy</b></i> with the objective of recovering energy
from the tens of thousands of municipal waste generated daily in the metropolis
of Tehran.<span style> </span>The event will also present
an opportunity to promote the sharing of best practices and lessons learned in
the wider field of sustainable urban energy with particular attention on biogas technology.<span style>

Municipal Solid Waste into Energy </i></b>with particular focus on biogas
systems<b style><i style>.</i></b><span style="background:white"> <span style> </span>Local authorities and municipal waste experts
from the region are invited to learn about the latest researches, innovations and
trends in the use of municipal solid waste to produce energy and address
environmental and climate change concerns.<span style>

the conference will also focus on sub-themes including energy efficiency in the
built environment, renewable energy in urban areas and sustainable urban energy
planning.<span style> </span>The first day of the
conference will be dedicated to the main theme with the second day dedicated to
sessions on sub-themes.<span style>
