There is something of an issue with Synod, as they are selling someone else's ideas. Biotech Ltd developed the system, using their experience with FRP, and also have much larger scale systems (used by local authorities) as well as their domestic systems. However, staff at Biotech Ltd are very busy and are not very open to selling their systems in other countries. The staff at Synod perhaps left Biotech Ltd because they wanted to make the technology more widely available. However, they do not have the long experience that Biotech Ltd have built up over many years. <br>

We just posted news of a small-scale drum AD unit essentially the same as ARTI’s but commercialized by the Indian company Synod; see our post at </span><a style=" font-family:'arial'; font-size: 10pt;" href="http://www.terutalk.com/February-2013.html#0204-4">http://www.terutalk.com/February-2013.html#0204-4</a><span style=" font-family:'arial'; font-size: 10pt;">. Their unit is designed for 2 to 5 kg food waste a day, but they indicate they have larger scales available to full industrial. My guess with raw sugar: add water to >50% and meter it in with other nutrient-rich feedstock like food waste / manure.<br>
