[Gasification] Pyrolysis Oil in ICE

Thank you all for your replies, well that idea was short lived. Back to the
idea of running on woodgas I guess.

I didn't think the water content would be a problem, as it would essentially
be steam injection. But the other issues seem insurmountable.

Arnt even if the engine could run hotter with better materials, would that
not cause pre-ignition?


Just a further question re woodgas in engines. When calculating the size of
the gasifier with regards to engine output, is this done on the engines
output on conventional fuel, or its estimated output on woodgas?
