Dear All,
Producer gas heating values is 1200 kcal / nm3 @ 30°C
In normal case 1kg wood + 1.5 kg air = 2.5 kg of producer gas ~ 2.5 m3 of producer gas @ 30°C
1m3 of producer gas = 1200 kcal
Therefore 2.5 m3 of producer gas = 1200 X 2.5 = 3000 kcal / m3 @ 30°C
In our case Producer gas outlet temperature is = 600°C
Producer gas outlet temperature is increased from 30°C to 600°C. Hence producer gas generated
at 600°C in this temperature sensible heat is added.
If the producer gas generated at 600°C How much sensible heat is added from Gross calorific
value?
