[Gasification] Oil from plastic waste

I've looked into these type systems - one from Japan made a bigger splash, news wise.  The energy input to crack long strands (plastics) to short strand (oil/liquids) is B.S. especially when considering electrical efficiencies (Basically a high temp hot plate) in producing the needed electric then transmitting it to the site and the resulting "oil" is still unrefined and the suggested use is to utilize the produce in heating oil capacity.  It's far better to do this in one shot - Burn the plastic at high temp for heating purposes - stove design becomes relevant though.

Better yet use the waste plastic (thermal set plastics rather then resin set) as a binder in pelletization of wood waste where lignens present are insufficient to bind saw dust/shavings or chips (Such as waste coming from kiln dried wood sources). (The energy equation is far better)

Pyrolysis system from India shows potential from recycled plastics that may be part of the liquid fuels solution while we develop renewable sources (TRM).
