Dear Wood Chipper producer,

I am happy to see such progress somewhere in Africa?, but please note the safty regulations for the operater.
Try to cover the knife and let the operator keep some distance from the feeder.

Kindly

Otto F.

That country has a very different tough environment and the trees that grow there reflect this in how they grow. These photos show a fallen gum tree (eucalyptus) of which there are over 2,000 deferring species across the continent. When a tree falls it is usually already infested by white ants (termites) and they usually leave just the shell of the tree. My brother Pete obligingly held up a piece which I estimated to be about 6kg or equivalent to 1.6 litres of gasoline. This wood is so hard, that you can just break it by bashing it onto another log. It snaps like a carrot, so continent for any collectors of firewood.
