[Gasification] Question about gasifiers without the need of filters.

Hi all,
¿Anyone know if exists a gasifier that do not require filtering the woodgas
to fuel an internal combustion engine?

And,

¿How can i know if the woodgas generated from a TLUD gasifier (with wood
pellets) need or not need a filter before using it in an internal
combustion engine?

I want to know that before ruining a motor.
