Hello John,

How did you surmount the silica slagging often encountered with rice hulls
as a gasification substrate?

Thank you!

Mark

Hello all,

I have been an avid follower of this site for the past couple of years and
have learned quite a bit about the state of the art of gasifiers. Our
company has just completed a 100% producer gas fueled 24 KW power system for
rural village in Bali as a pilot project using rice husks. To say it has
been a learning experience would be an understatement but we are proud of
our accomplishments.

Next challenge is to use fiber from coconut husks-not dense shells- to
produce 50 KW of electricity on remote islands.

Anyone have any experience in this or recommendations.

Thank you

John Clark,

PT Gasifier Prima Energi
