Ronald:

	May not be the right one, but I suggest you look up the word “Dasifier”.  Agua Das of the Denver area achieved very high temperatures for his foundry with a char-making system  (or maybe it was not producing much char - so the gas composition could be a little different from pyrolysis gases).  He used compressed air that entrained the combustible gases in some clever way. Think he achieved some premixing.  Beautiful looking flame   It has been referenced more than once on one of Tom Miles’s lists.
