Thats a wide open field. Youll get lots of advice to choose from.<br>
Thats my advice given without actually discussing technology. Im a<br>
fan of farmer level technologies, that is things that work without a<br>
lot of engineering.<br>
<br>
The stuff you want is methane, not the CO2. Do stuff in your shop<br>
first before calling the pros. There is a method to get rid of the<br>
CO2 by using lime water or just water, if you choose that remember<br>
that gas always goes up in liquid and you can force a path that goes<br>
up so slowly you can{t see it by eye. The gas will be good and<br>
polished by the time it gests to the top after it goes through a few<br>
hundred feet of garden hose. The sulpher gas gas goes away with steel<br>
wool. The wool will be bad at the entry to the chamber and then clean<br>
at the exit.<br>

There is plenty on the net about this, I never felt at a loss.<br>

there is no need to clean the biogas. Just as the oxygen entering the<br>
engine is accompanied by a lot of nitrogen, as well as some moisture, the<br>
methane is accompanied by carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulphide, ammonia and<br>
moisture. We have been using the biogas in i.c. engines without cleaning<br>
it. Our engines have not been damaged in any way by using the unclean<br>
biogas.<br>

I'm always suspect of the claim that engines can run well on biogas.<br>
If that were the case we could cut methane to 99.99% with CO2 and that<br>
would solve the worlds energy needs just with CO2. I'm sorry, I'm<br>
suspect. IC engines run on fuel, not filler. Moisture is a classic<br>
no no. If you sell that kind of fuel you'd get arrested and sued.<br>

As I understand the scrubbing and CO2 removal process it is deceptively<br>
simple. But it seems like it is better suited to an anaerobic digester than<br>
a gasifier. N2 is the major diluent in an air-fed gasifier output (assuming<br>
a shift of most of the CO2 to CO).<br>

I aggree, this is somewhat of a cross-post, they should have put "OT"<br>
(off topic, for those that are not computer savy) at the begining of<br>
the post, as these two worlds (Anarobic and Gasifiers) produce<br>
extremely different gas structures.<br>
