There is an altfuelfurnace group on yahoo. There are also a number of other
groups dedicated to biod or straight vegi. There are a lot of approaches out
there and a lot of designs that have been improved over time. Basically
conversion of a condensing boiler to biod is relatively straight forward
with modifications of nozzles and pressure. Using straight (filtered) waste
vegetable oil gets more complex as it involves heating the oil and pressure.

I think Riello makes a burner that will run direct on vege or bio

Does anyone know of a boiler being run on restaurant vegetable oil or
biodiesel?
