[Greenbuilding] firewood moisture content - a question for Norbert perhaps

This is funny. Looking through old e-mails I stumbled upon this exchange
with Norbert six years ago about our (now long gone) brick chimney. In
response to a question from him I was describing the inherited method for
burning wood, coaxing heat out of an armload of firewood (highlighted
below).

How quickly we forget from whom we learn crucial lessons.
