[Greenbuilding] Fixture Folly

Any acid will work, but some are stronger and quicker than others.
Vinegar will work if you've got the time to soak it for awhile. I used
a product called CLR that the former owner left in the house. I
diluted it in water, and have a respirator with cartridges rated for
acid as well as organic vapors.
