[Greenbuilding] Low-e housewrap

Phil,
I haven't seen this use before but it looks to me like the reflective
scrim folks have found a new marketing niche. It might work, provided
the siding was held off the wall on vertical lath to provide a drain
space and the required air gap to let the reflective function work.
However, I did not see any mention of a perm rating on their site. I'd
check that before using, lest you block the walls drying potential to
the outside. I'd think that aluminum scrim is a near-perfect vapor barrier.
