[Greenbuilding] Foam insulation advice needed

Thanks so much, David.  Love the off-gassing joke.  :-)

I wondered about the ventilation thing.  We have very little air flow  
through the attic right now, and that's another issue we have to  
address eventually.  We have one little gable vent on both sides, and  
some very ineffective soffit vents, but the air in the attic is very  
stagnant, and very hot right now.

I think the key is "installed properly" and adequate ventilation.

I'm not really sure how much foaming of any kind we can afford; we  
still have to get price quotes.

Will send your message to the Husband, and we'll discuss it tonight  
before talking to the insulation guy tomorrow.
