Not "sealing" per se but one of the Xypex products will definitely do the  
job.

Not cheap though.

A little 25 lb bag of the dry, powdered "C-1000" admix (ie to add to a  
cement/stone/sand mix when casting a concrete countertop to make the  
concrete waterproof) costs about $120 IIRC here in Ottawa ON).

Me ? For a ferrocement tub that's already been cast and is cracked and in  
need of "decoration", I think that I'd look at tiling it with either  
fully-vitrified porcelain or glass mosaic. (ie tiles small enough to  
easily conform to small-radius curved surfaces, fully vitrified =  
impervious to moisture throughout the entire thickness of the tile and  
will endure a lifetime of scrubbing with abrasive scrubbers/cleansers).
