[Greenbuilding] Induction lighting

Gennaro,

I looked into induction lighting for a project but despite the advantages
(low energy use, good lighting colour, long life) I decided against it
because although they initially claimed they were dimmable, they later said
dimming drastically reduced bulb life and sometimes makes them explode.

Does anyone have any comments about Induction Lighting for residential use?
