[Greenbuilding] Induction cooking

Most higher QUALITY aluminum pots have a disc on the bottom that contains ferrous metals to better evenly distribute the heat. Those that don't are--as I and others have pointed out--too cheap to waste your money on.  From a sustainability standpoint, they're a total waste of resources.  (And then there are the arguments against using aluminum which have also been pointed out.)
