Can I recommend something a bit more efficient? I built a larsen truss
around my timber frame. See: http://www.greenfret.com/house/house.html
Were I to do it again today, I would be using a thicker wall with
i-joists instead (or at very least larsen trusses with contiguous
webbing, to keep the insulation bays isolated). ]
