Hi John,

Reportedly, the fan is rated at 550 CFM (source:
http://www.ecoheatonline.com/frequently%20asked%20questions%20-%20ehs.pdf)
and item #4 of this document addresses the question of venting into
existing ductwork.

I haven't gotten around to measuring the outflow temperature as yet, but
it does feel downright chilly (no doubt rather pleasant during the dog
days of summer.... not so much this time of year).

Cheers,
Paul

When I did a design with the unit (was called the nylotherm then) I placed
it within an isolated closet designed in with some simple ductwork that drew
air from bedrooms and bath with the option for a winter exterior exhaust or
summer cooling. Minimal cooling but still something. I don’t know what the
cfm on the current unit is but easy to boost with an inline duct fan. I
really thought it was most useful for heat recovery as part of a house
ventilation system rather than just for dhw.
