[Greenbuilding] Fresnel lenses box solar cooker

Fresnel lenses should make solar much cheaper, but focusing the light to a smaller area, you need less cell area. since the heat is also concentrated, the system should allow for better utilization of the heat too.

Let's say solar becomes really cheap. Would that necessarily stop the use of fossil fuels? Or will we just use more energy?  


I'll come back to what I've been saying for years, technology (or lack of it) is neither the problem or the solution. That's not to say I don't love innovative designs that will allow me to reduce my footprint.
