Thanks, but what I want is a permanent coating which will prolong the life of the roof while reflecting sun light.
GAF product 900 claims to reflect 90%...

Spray application is generally the most efficient method of applying KOOL RAY and will usually result in a more uniform shade density and more even wear. Spray tip sizes of .03, .04, .06, .08 and angles of 65 - 85 work well. Consult your supplier of spray equipment for their specific recommendations.

Ratios and shading effect can be adjusted according to the grower's particular needs. For a denser shade, several lighter, more diluted coats are recommended over a single, less diluted, heavy coat. A heavy coat can tend to cause "mud cracking" which can lead to eventual flaking and less even wear.

For instance, a 1:15 dilution of 1 gallon of KOOL RAY ULTRA to 15 gallons of water yields a total of 16 gallons of liquid shade. A 1:10 dilution yields a total of 11 gallons of shade. To determine coverage, multiply the diluted gallon amount by 175. Example - 1:15 = 16 gallons x 175 = 2800 sq. ft. 1:10 = 11 gallons x 175 = 1925 sq. ft. Higher dilution rations (less concentrated) result in a lighter shade, lower dilution ratios result in a darker shade.
