[Greenbuilding] Circa 1766 roof shingles

Here is a better picture of roof.
I could not tell if it is slate.
I don't think it is slate but the stone
Weathering is beautiful!

The sidewalks were very big cut stone.
The bricks in the sidewalk and
Buildings are cut stone. Almost 
Like a red granite. Granite is all over
North Carolina . 

And John you are correct about the 
Trees. They are very very big here.
And back then probably even bigger.
