Lynelle,

I think the product that Norbert is suggesting is actually called
Drain*board* and you may have some difficulty sourcing it. When I tried
to get some last summer, I was told that I needed to order a whole
truckload. Things may have changed since then, but an alternative is
Roxul Comfortboard, which has very similar characteristics and is much
more readily available in the retail market. If you choose, you can also
extend the Comfortboard up the wall, in place of the EPS, since that's
what it's primarily designed for.

Depending on how important it is to you to keep the wall dry, you may
also want to apply waterproofing to the wall and footing, behind the
Comfortboard. I used a membrane from Resisto, but there are other good
options available. Note that you will need to protect the exposed
portion of the Comfortboard.

I should also note that, while the Drain/Comfortboard has many desirable
characteristics, it is much more expensive than EPS.
