[Greenbuilding] Unifoam vs Plastispan

Hi Lynelle:
I don't know. There is no heating downward if it is well insulated, so cold
would be leaking in around the perimeter, depending on the snow cover. If
it was bare ground, it could be substantial. With snow cover up here near
Ottawa, we often have no frost in the ground. A driveway can have 6ft of
frost some years.

We have an uninsulated floor in our basement, about 4 ft below grade,
insulated basement walls, with snow cover on 3 sides, and the floor is
around 50F plus or minus 2 degrees, year round.
