Hi, Reuben—

Happy new year!

We installed damp spray cellulose in our exterior walls. You do have to scrape off the excess to flatten the surface for drywall, but that goes back into the sprayer. It creates a complete fill, which both improves thermal comfort and made the house really quiet.

I've replaced several of the internal wear parts over the years, and babied it a bit. I think I once learned (here) that this machine has the capability (can be upgraded to) blow cellulose wet such that one can blow it into open wall or ceiling cavities. Am I remembering this right? Has anyone here done this? And if so what can you say about that?
