I ran into my neighbour in town this afternoon as he was coming out of a grocery store, delighted that they had given him two cartsful of fresh corn for his llamas, free, because the cobs were too small to sell to shoppers. </p><p>I told him that I had been telling people (this List) that his single-axis tracking array had produced 40 and sometimes 44% more than the Enphase fixed array and that you (the Listmembers) were telling me that I was full of $#!+.</p><p>We both just shrugged our shoulders (as if to say "Nyeh! What can you do about unbelieving heathens ?") and I proceeded to speculate on the effect that the fresh corn would have on his llamas' bowel movements, noting how corn tends to loosen-up humans and recalling that he had told me that llamas have a habit of crapping all over places that they like (after a suggestion from me that maybe he should think about digging a swimming pool for them down in his creek...bad idea).</p><p>In any case, I found the following from him in this evening's mail:</p>------- Forwarded message -------<br>From: [The Llama /Morgans Rancher-neighbour]<br>Date: Tue, 02 Aug 2011 20:57:41 -0400<br><br>
<div>Rob, today we did 76.33 kwh. We should have done more as we definitely have
shading from our nearby trees. However this is still 38% better than nearby
Enphase with a fixed system, which did 55.3 kwh. Other single axis systems
without our shading do a fair bit better than us. 38% is not that unusual for
our system and we will do 40 or more percent more on days when the sun is more
constant.</div>

<div>I am told that Greenwork's dual axis system does substantially better than
us and with the wide arc of the sun that is quite possible this time of year.
