The tenant in question referenced the same study and I’m pointing out that a potassium sensitivity is not typical and that potassium is good for us as an essential mineral, in fact most of what I’ve found on-line points out the benefits of using Potassium Chloride for this reason. I’m also noting that many foods have potassium in them and that they would be contraindicated as much as the water for people with medical conditions. But there are others on sodium. <br>

On a personal note, I had a Kinetco potassium softener and loved
it. I don't have any of the health issues Health Canada identified,
and found the minor amount of potassium I took in (I didn't bypass
the kitchen cold tap) actually reduced my age-related leg cramps! <br>

Have bought a home closer to TO and will use potassium in the
(current) sodium softener there. Manufacturer says no conversion is
needed, just dump in the potassium. <br>
