purchased a house with a cast iron wood burning stove.  I will no longer 

use the stove and plan to cap the chimney. The chimney goes up through a 

closet.  Should anything be done before putting a cap over the entire 

chimney?  Should any insulation be installed so the chimney does not 

condense in the winter time? (Minnesota)  This will be permanent.
