Thanks for the interesting description of your market conditions.

 

I forgot to tell you one thing: put two bricks into the base of the stove
where the door is. You will see in the pictures that the square base was
just the right size to hold two bricks 'on the flat'. The reduce the height
of the internal space, absorb heat to prevent burning the floor, and assist
the preheating of the primary air.

 

The weight of the bricks makes it more stable as well.
