Dear Friends

I met a couple of representatives from Xunda a few days ago. They make what
appears to be a domestic kitchen-sized TLUD fan stove of 2.5 kW that can
burn a wide range of biomass fuels. It has forced primary air and two levels
of secondary air injection.

bae3 shows the one I have a brochure for, the Xunda Biomass Stove, second
from left at top.

They have already produced 7 million improved gas stoves so I take it these
guys are mainstream manufacturers and know a lot about combustion. They have
biogas lamps and controls.

The performance numbers they give are not directly useful in that they
report concentrations in the exhaust without giving the excess air
(dilution).

It runs on 6 watts at 12 volts. They claim a cooking heat transfer
efficiency of 40%.

I also have two videos which I will try to turn into something accessible by
mail and a 16 slide PPT. Their biomass stove can be connected to a low
pressure boiler (space heater) and water heating systems.

Regards

Crispin
