Long-time stove-lister and itinerant chemistry whizz kid Prof Philip Lloyd,
winner of SANEA's 2010 Energy Award is presenting:

 

"The draft IRP 2010 -  Its strengths & weaknesses" a talk on South Africa's
integrated resource plan.

Attendance is free, if you can get yourself to Cape Town. Interestingly, if
you register and don't take a seat thus preventing someone else from coming,
they charge you R150. Good idea.

 

Prof Lloyd chaired the Working Group for the development of the paraffin
stove compulsory national standards now applied in South Africa. And many
other things. He has one of the few stove labs that can test for PAH and VOC
and PIC and gas emissions.
