They look like pot simulators with a gas sample point through the centre of
the 'pot'.

If you do that, you will get artificially low CO readings because the plate
gets a lot hotter than a pot would (with water inside) and the chilling
effect is reduced. Good for looking at gas flow.

That Testo calculates the CO2 to accept the COr with caution.

Crispin,
There is a chap with a Testo on one of the last pages. He has a few stoves
in front of him. Do you know how the funnels and hanging pipes are used?
