Onderwerp: [Stoves] IR THEMPERATURE ?

Demien,

Firm OMEGA has type OS523 IR Thermometer to measure -28 TO 1370 ° C

We use VANZETTY ( Mass. US ) IR thermometer with a few meters glass fibre

light gide . 5000 $ sensor PbS with electronic shopper 1Hz to
discharge the charge sensitive detector .

For the experimenters :

In anny CD drive you find IR sensors like SELENIDE TELURIDE sensors .

Some LED’s are IR sensor material like InGaAs

Intrusian IR sensor is SILICON FET with a 10 000 nm wavelength Ge filter.

IR night vision converter use CsI kathode and 16 KV to the ZnS anode .
It sees 400-1300 nm from visible glow 500 ° C and up .
( Normal use with invisible lightning 900-1300 nm .)

IR Themperature measurement and vision in fals colous ,good for heat loss
pictures detection cost 5 000 to 10 000 $

For stoves IR is too fansy and expensive !

The good old THERMOCOUPLE Ni/CrNi and Pt/PtRo is less combersome and
spoiling NGO money.

Regards

Frans
