[Stoves] % stone fire

Dear Friends

 

Does anyone have a spare photo of a 5-stone 2-pot fire? This single-fire
multiple pot cooking is used in Sumba Island and the method is distinctly
reproduced (which implies selection of the right stones to suit the two
pots).

 

Simon Mortimore found numerous cases of multiple pots and multiple fires
being consolidated later in the burn cycle but the pots all had legs which
is not quite the same thing.
