Angaza http://www.angazadesign.com/products/ is distributing solar lights
and cell phone chargers in Africa with a neat business model. If you have a
cell phone that already is on one of the pay as you go plans, you can buy
the kit for $10 deposit and pay the rest via your cell phone bill.


They said that customers were having trouble coming up with $50 - $60 for
the kit, so they found the cell phone pay as you go model as an alternative.

Another great thing about the kits,  they remembered the cell phone charger.
