[Stoves] Pine Needles

Hi,
    My name is Paul and I am new to the forum.  I am designing a stove and want to utilize the Pine needle as a fuel compressed into a briquette as my main source as they are readily available.  What research has been done on the needles that I could access to facilitate the building of this fuel cell?  Thanks and have a good day.
