This is one I've used

A bit cheaper to start with.

These just need the slicer removing and the die plate replaced with a
custom one. 

The compression is achieved by the screw of the auger tightening up to
extrude the  material. I used warm waste glycerol and sawdust before I
realised glycerol was not easy to burn cleanly.
