Ron,

Put the general and the overview on the list.   But the details are:

1.  So subject to change with each modification that the thread is not 
of interest to many.

2.  Some approaches are proprietary even if the originator intends to 
eventually make something public domain.

3.  There are some unscrupulous people who could lurk or simply look 
into the archives and later cause problems.

4.  This type of work does not need the "nay-sayers" putting in comments 
that only waste time and hinder progress, such as comments about poor 
people not being able to afford fans.

5.  When something is sufficiently worthy of posting to all, THAT is the 
time to do it.
