[Stoves] In search for a stove model for the disaster in the Philippines

Not to be to simplistic but an LED attached to single AA, C or D cell battery with two bits of wire a dash of solder on one end and even just tape on the other will give you  but simple serviceable small emergency light. D cells would give you maximum runtime. At the right supply shop various LEDs can be gotten for pesos only or even ripped out of drowned computers.
