Hi Erin,
Thanks for sharing the information on Wonderbag's. It seem particularly
timely in light of the disaster relief needed relief. Retained heat cooking
really stretches scare fuel and energy resources. With the added benefit
that these are very inexpensive.

I wanted to give Wonderbags a plug and share a note of caution. We had a
supporter of the Estufa Finca project donate several Wonderbags she
purchased, to us for informal field testing with our cooks in the Talamanca.
We also had a really positive exchange of information with the South
African NGO creating and marketing them. The bags are very well made. They
come with good instructions (in English) and some great recipes. They
worked great when used carefully.

However, our experience was that once they went into use in the field and
were used in combination with 5+liter pots coming straight off our TLUD-style
stoves, the inside bottom liner was scorching very quickly. Then the women
got nervous about continuing to use them.

It's a good product that could be improved with a better liner.
