Crispin and all

I also find very interesting this site about russian masonry stove based in
the principle of "Free Gas Movement".

http://www.stove.ru/index.php?lng=1&rs=16

Here is a short description of Igor Kuznetsov, who continued the work done
by Podgorodnikov.

http://www.stovemaster.com/html_en/designsyshistory.html

I like the concept of the new method of combustion proposed by Kuznetsov,
explained in this article:

http://www.stove.ru/index.php?lng=1&rs=168

He talk about a patented formula which states ”The stove’s lower level and
the firebox are combined to form a single space creating a lower bell”. He
explain about the influence of the ballast gases and explain the principle
of a dry joint in the combustion chamber.

Maybe various concepts explained in this site can be applied in the
developing of improved cookstoves.

Dear Space Heaters Who Cook

There is a wonderfully detail site at

http://pyromasse.ca/articles/75kmwest_e.html

showing how he and Marcus Flynn built an advanced cooking, baking, space
heating stove from bricks and purchased metal components.

I managed to locate Alexander and he communicates quite well in English.

He is clearly a skilled designer.

Regards

Crispin
