List:
1. For a very recent set of (heating) stove rules, see: http://biomassmagazine.com/articles/9872/epa-releases-proposed-update-to-residential-wood-heater-standards
2. This takes one to 355 pages at:
http://www2.epa.gov/sites/production/files/2014-01/documents/proposedrule.pdf,
which I have barely skimmed (and won’t do more for some time).
I did find the word “carbonization” used quite a bit (not pyrolysis or carbonization)
3. One of many good-looking cites sends you to an EPA report done for New York, where I saw a lot more good data - especially for 2-stage combustion.
Environmental, Energy Market, and
Health Characterization of Wood-Fired
Hydronic Heater Technologies
Executive Summary June 2012
4. I hope someone in this business can tell us more that could apply to other forms of wood use.
