Dear Tuong
Please address this question to Prof Philip Lloyd who is subscribed to this list. He is a professor of chemical engineering and has a stove testing lab. He may have good ideas on how to design a test method.
Regards
Crispin

Subject: [Stoves] Evidence of carcinogenicity/toxicity in emission from rice straw pellet gasification
Dear stovers,
We are testing rice straw pellet in a small TLUD gasifier in Vietnam.
There's a concern raised during our test that the toxic gases and
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) emitted from the gasification
process of rice straw pellet may affect the human health.
Especially the toxic gases may comes from the left-over pesticide inside
rice straw under high gasification temperature.
Any suggestion for further testing and/or scientific evidence relating to
this are highly appreciated !
Thanks
Tuong DoDuc
