[Stoves] Why not high mass stoves?

Hi Bodie,

I've liked the pot skirt stoves creating a 7mm channel gap between the pot
and the skirt made from sand/clay plus as much finely ground light weight
organic material as possible (increases insulative value).  Not clean
burning but effectively reduces fuel used to cook.

What have you been doing?
