To all Stovers,
I highly recommend that you watch Rebecca's video (10 minutes). It is:
1. Very well made, fast paced, with nice music, and very informative.
2. CAUTION: It will make you hungry!! Many views of delicious food
that was prepared with the Eco-Kalan and Bingka Oven.
3. Rebecca's introductory comments (printed below) in this message are
not in the video, but will help you understand what is being shown.
4. I am also absolutely thrilled by the addition of TLUD heat sources
under the Bingka Oven!!! The TLUDs are in two sizes, and are made of
clay/ceramic!! And they can be removed from under the Bingka Oven (as
should be the case), so any appropriate sized TLUD could be inserted. I
request that Rebecca tell us more about the making of clay TLUDs and the
issues of cracking/breaking, how hot the sides became, and about the
weight (because they need to be picked up and moved for refilling /
replacement.
5. There are some views at the beginning showing the making of the
oven. A VERY NICE PRODUCT!!!! I am sure that Jon and Flip can relate
to the work it takes to make ovens. I hope Rebecca will direct us to
more information specifically about making of the oven.
To Rebecca, CONGRATULATIONS on your very evident success!!!!!!!!!!!
