In the comments of the video, Rebecca says that she based his TLUD design
on the Whirly Girl Stove by Kelpie Wilson.
Is a TLUD stove with secondary air holes located after the concentrator
ring hole.

Here is the link of a set of pictures of the construction process.
Maybe it can be improved with an outer can surrounding the burner can to
preheat the secondary air.

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for asking about the Whirly Girl Stove. It is different from the
other ones. The side slits give a whirling motion to the secondary air. I
plan to publish an ebook of instructions for making it, but have not had
time to do that yet. However, I did take all the pictures for it, and I bet
you can figure out how to do it by looking at the pictures. The secret is:
